Why is this man not 'spended' well for the development of our football?
You go post news, still collect first and second comments. Is that not greed and corruption?

If by mistake you happen to become the president of the country, i won't be surprised if you sell off Nigeria and pocket the money alone

My thoughts exactly. Albeit in a diplomatic manner but the message was clear: "grow up!"

That Dalung is still our Sports Minister says alot about us as a nation

lalasticlala

FIFA is in the hands of cultured people, not like the Nigerian agencies where corrupt people holds us to ransom.

Government has no business with football ...
Re: NFF: FIFA Rejects Dalung’s Ministerial Visit Offer by bluecircle470: 1:16pm On Aug 17, 2018
My verdict: Let the federal government stop any allocation given to the NFF. Let them be responsible for once like every other FA in the world by looking for sponsors for the leagues and national teams.

The governing body also reminded the Minister that the only channel with which it relates to its member bodies is through the legitimate Football Federation and advised him not to use other means in the future.

This Giwa person should be put in prison. Why is it that he doesn't know that national interest supersedes personal interest.

We have too much regards for FIFA! If FIFA respects the laws of Switzerland, why can't she respect our laws? When they want a nation to host their events, they go through the government. But they say no to government interference. Double standard.

But I've been wondering, how is football being run in communist countries like north Korea and China without,"government interference"?

Why has FIFA not banned them?
It's a football federation not a government, nothing stops them from organising an election into the various sports federations..

Those guys are 1000 times smarter that the dullards in our government and will know how to make everything appear like the association is independent by having strong and loyal party men 'elected' as leaders of their football bodies (election in parenthesis).
If those guys mess up, the party can have them jailed on Trumped up charges that have nothing to do with football and by FIFA statue, the criminals will then have to be removed by the 'independent' FA and life continues.
An APC Government that allowed Saraki to steal SP from right under their noses cannot execute any meaningful plan. And Dalung is not the smartest member of that crew.

Which laws should FIFA respect?..you can keep your laws and elect or appoint who you want,as long as you don't expect them to partake in FIFA organized competitions..
Even when you are hosting a tournament,it's activities are channeled through the resident Federation and what laws of Switzerland are you talking about? not every country is as lawless as Nigeria..
