I think the problem in Iraq was destroying Saddam's Sunni leadership and handing power over to a predominantly Shai government that is closer to Iran, hezbollah and other shai militia in the middle east.

Although in theory, it seemed like the noble thing to do because Shai are the majority in Iraq but it created a catastrophic sectarian tension that led to the creation of the likes of Islamic state(a Sunni terrorist group) amongst others.

this man was an agent of the Western world and he helped them to underdevelop Africa and was part of those who truncated democracy in Nigerian by being part of the team that eliminated Chief MKO Abiola in 1998. Butrous Ghali stood up against Western injustice in Africa and the Middle East and he was tactically removed for his sympathy and replaced with this Assasin.

He has also gone to the great beyond and he should be having conversation with MKO right now.

You are wrong, collin powell was a good man with sound principals but could not battle the blood hawkers that surrounder president Bush which Dick cheney the vice president was the blood master.
Collin powell later resign in 2004 because he could not take the bullshit anymore.

Remember power politics plays a big role in any peace related issue in the world, the UN which was established after the second world war was formally known as league of nations before it was changed in January 1948. United nation is a western organ and they always dance to the tune of America , Kofi annan was just a figure head, the major funding of the organization is coming from the west and it was created for the western interest. The secretary general can not make a decision unanimously without involving the permanent members who votes . other cases like the Rwanda genocide what did the UN did , what of the Liberia?
