Who is talking there rather than Paul and an ORDINARY LETTER OF ASSUMPTION AND PERSONAL VIEWS to Timothy in form of piece of advice.
Paul wasn't saying that its a divine commandments but just an advice which contradicted plans of Almighty God Himself.

Isaiah 4:1 And in that day SEVEN women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

Genesis 25:1 Then AGAIN Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

Deuteronomy 21:15 If a man have TWO wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:

Exodus 21:10 If he take him ANOTHER WIFE; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.

Notice: Not all Paul advice in from God and Jesus teaches e.g

1 Corinthians 7:6 But I speak this by PERMISSION, and NOT of commandment. said Paul
All scriptures are spiritually inspired

2Tim 3:16

New International Version
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

You will be a joke of the century to think Paul that rebuke Peter to his face wasn't speaking the mind of God

The verse refers to a future calamity befalling Israel....where most of the men would have died in battle...and many women would have been left behind. (Seen in many calamites, including the end of WW2, where women outnumbered men in Berlin, Germany.

Genesis 25:1 Then AGAIN Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

Genesis 25:6
(ABRAHAM)
but while he was still alive, he gave presents to the sons his other wives had borne him.
Genesis 31:50
(JACOB)
Leban went on, "if you ill-treat my daughters or marry other women..."
2 Samuel 3:2
(DAVID)
The following six sons, in the order of their birth, were born to David at Hebron: Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam...,Chileab, whose mother was Abigail..., Absalom...

From the foregoing, the passages you quoted were mere letters sent to Timothy from Paul. Those were clearly Paul's personal opinion not Gods opinion.

1. Doesn't mean God approved of it...and as you know...the bible shows that polygamy has a LOT of bad side effects.

2.Then there is this explanation

[Note: one of the two main purposes of concubinage (the other being to provide an heir in a barren marriage)--an economically very expensive expedient in the ancient world--was to keep the family from falling below 'critical mass'. The mortality rate was so high ("as many as one in two children did not survive to the age of five" [OT:FAI:19]), and the labor demand was so high, that additional means of renewal (other than just the single-wife of the ideal) were sometimes necessary:

· "Those labor requirements in early Israel were especially intense for several reasons: cropping patterns, with their seasonal demands for many hands to do certain sowing or harvesting tasks within a relatively short window of environmental opportunity; sporadic needs for terrace maintenance and land clearing; a constant set of time-consuming daily procedures for tending to livestock, securing water, and transforming food products to comestibles. The number of persons needed for the family, as the primary, self-sufficient economic unit, to perform the myriad tasks in a regime with critical labor-intensive periods was greater than a nuclear family could supply. Extended or compound families were essential for survival." [OT:FAI, 18]

· "Concubines are women without dowry who include among their duties providing children to the family. Childbearing was an important function in the ancient world, where survival of the family, and often survival at all, was tenuous at best. " [BBC, at Gen 35.21ff]

· " A concubine was a true wife, though of secondary rank. This is indicated, for example, by the references to a concubine’s “husband” (Jud 19:3), the “father-in-law” (Jud 19:4), “son-in-law” (Jud 19:5). Thus, the concubine was not a kept mistress, and did not cohabit with a man unless married to him. The institution itself is an offshoot of polygamy." [TWOT, s.v. concubine/pilgsh]

And what happens when Catholic Church allows priests to marry and have kids?

You will leave the Church, abi?
If a priest is caught in the act you described above, he is suspended from celebrating mass. And the church can never allow priest to marry because it is a voluntary vocation. And finally if the church allows that, then, I won't go to church again.

Lolz. Are you really a Christian?
I quote four verse but the one you lay emphasis on is apostle Paul?

I guess Paul is no more an apostle so his teaching can be neglected. What a shame.

The same bible said Abraham send away his bastard son, so i guess all Christian should send away the son of the second wife or what did you think as your perspective.
Lolz. The scripture record that Abraham marry second wife doesn't mean that it is allowed.

Lolz, you quote Isaiah that is talking about revelation to justify polygamy. Are you ok at all?

So the verse said female will beg to be marry, if i may ask the did verse allow the men to marry them?

And mind you apostle Paul teaching is never contradict any God commandment, even in old testament, said priest are not allowed to Practice polygamy.
So what is contradicting here.

And for the rule you wrote down here about polygamy.

Did you know what Jesus said about those rules.
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.

Moses permit them to marry two wives because there hearts were harden.

If i may ask why did Jesus said two shall become one why not Three or Fore shall become one?

And why did God only create One wife for Adam?

Then that god of the bible is a god of contradictions because he tolerated the old testament patriachs' philandering and polygamous lifestyle and even prospered and validated them. The number two verse you quoted is too ambiguous to definitely bar a bishop from having more than one wife because it is still subject to interpretation. As a matter of fact, the entire bible is subject to interpretation which is why there are so many sects of the religion with different doctrines. Even nature itself tolerates and validates polygamy. Why is the entire bible filled with so much contradictions??

What exactly is contradictory? If a man desires the office of a bishop....were the patriarchs bishops? If not.....then how is that contradictory? What exactly is ambiguous in the second verse?

Let the Bishop be. He is not missing anything.
It's biblical to marry more than one woman.
Except we can talk about Bible without Jacob, David, Solomon and many more. European doctoring have mixed with Bible doctoring.
If Abraham fathered children from more than one woman. Jacob married up to 4 women. David have multiple women. Solomon have plenty of women.
Why attack a Bishob that chooses to follow in the direction of all these pillars of Bible stories.
This Bishop is far better than others in religious leadership position who are having sexual relationship secretly with many women.
