This morning, Nigerians woke up to the news and pictures of Yinka Ayefele's radio house in Ibadan being demolished by the Oyo State government.

As reactions to the development continues, this 2016 radio interview with Governor Ajimobi who had just been re-elected for his second term in office re-surfaced online.

In the interview, Governor Ajimo visited the Yinka Ayefele Music House and granted an interview to Fresh FM located inside the building where he revealed that some people within his cabinet were urging him to demolish the radio station because Yinka Ayefele does not support them.

He was quoted saying, “Thank God we didn’t heed the advice to demolish this building. I thank God I didn’t demolish this building. And I can say this is the best radio station I have visited in Oyo State'.

wow! Imaging, a man on wheelchair provided jobs 4 people while government taken away the jobs from them and exposed them 2 unlimited hardship and hunger.

I never liked this Ajimobi of a guy.

If you ever passed through school you'll learn about basic fundamental human rights... Freedom of Association and freedom of speech.
However, I'll admit that government has the authority to issue and also revoke C of O. But that authority must not be used maliciously.
If you listen to the audio clip where the Governor categorically said that he was "Urged" by certain groups of people to demolish the building because he supported an opposition candidate in the election that saw Ajimobi won. At that point, it's become (in law) "Conflict of interest" and as such he cannot exercise any action against his Oath of Office.
This action is "Abuse of Power"..pure and simple! And it's unbecoming of Governor Ajimobi....This should be discouraged by all. You can not use the instrument of power to deal with a private citizen with political dissent.
Remember how certain traditional Rulers were deposed or suspended from office in the First Republic because they supported opposition.... History!!!

We still have a very long road to walk in this country.
A townplanning agency hás the duty to take action without interferance from the governor.

If the governor actually influenced their action, then we are not really ready for any true development. If politicians can just use govt agencies to intimidate their enemies, what hope do the masses have?

The poor people of Oyo state should rise up violently against the governor.

They should arm themselves and attack and kill ALL family members of the governor, starting from his village. Also,every piece of house owned or associated with the governor in Oyo should be destroyed and burnt down.

It is time for the poor people of this country to rise up and defend themselves and for their own future. People like this governor Ajimobi, from hell, should be taught a lesson and the way to do it is to attack and kill him or anyone associated with him.

Going to church has not helped and it won't, crying will not help, praying and saying "god dey" will not help us. WE HAVE PRAYED FOR AGES AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Now is the time to take our own future into our own hands.
