All I pray for is that a time will come when Nigerians will relegate PDP and APC to the corridors of history long forgotten with each and everyone of their members whether they have attained and political office or not. As long as power is continuously shared between PDP and APC Nigeria will never move forward there are other parties outside of these two, give any of them the reigns and see the difference and if any accepts any cross carpeters from the PDP and APC send them to oblivion too and see politicians work and take us serious. 1 Like |

Simplicity and humbleness is not what Nigeria needs. We need a dynamic leader who is able to converse on the same level with the world's movers and shakers to bring fresh ideas, new investments, real innovations that will move this country forward. If his thoughts on the economy are as old as the couch, and his approach to a modern complex world of trade, manufacturing, economic systems, capital markets is as simple as his home, of what use is he to us today? Seriously? So if he's happy with an old couch, he should also be happy with an old and creaking power infrastructure? We're not in the 80s anymore. I admire his humility and appreciate his simplicity - at least what he chooses to portray to the world* - but it doesn't do us any good. *I say portray because apparently his son can afford quite expensive bikes, and his wife can get herself some really nice jewelry, bags and clothing. Not sure where all that money came from - for a family man who has quite simple tastes. 4 Likes |
