The apex Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, has revealed the only reason the Senate President Bukola Saraki and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bolaji Tinubu are exchanging words. Afenifere described the situation as the elevation of personal interests and ambitions over national good and development by politicians in the country. It noted that the verbal exchanges between Tinubu and Saraki were all about their personal interests. Spokesman of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, while reacting to the fight between the two former governors and party members, told Punch that it was disappointing to see the two men more interested in personal ambitions than in national good and progress. “You cannot see anything in these exchanges that talk about national good or higher values,” he said. “The only thing that was substantial was when Saraki said he was against Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2014. “If that was true, it would have been unthinkable in a Nigeria so badly divided as it is today. “Clearly, the arguments were about personal interests and ambitions.” http://www.mcebisco.com.ng/2018/08/why-saraki-tinubu-are-fighting-afenifere.html 8 Likes 1 Share

Tinubu believed in himself too much that after 2015 elections. He wanted to test his popularity and political dexterity in National politics. Tambuwal, Saraki, Atiku and many more humbled him. As it stands right now, Tinubu cannot stand Saraki in the political battle field if he wants to preserve his political gains over the years. Tinubu will be demystified and he knows it, that's why he has been quietly observing. The north will use the opportunity to bring him down and use him as collateral damage the moment he attempts no get into the game with Saraki. Tinubu has too many enemies even within his house and stronghold. Getting involved with Saraki will give them an opportunity to cut him to size. Comparing Saraki to with Tinubu doesn’t worth it. When Tinubu was busy spoon feeding people, Saraki was bn spoon fed by his father. Tinubu build a lot of politicians, Saraki was built by his father. Tinubu made Lagos state the 3rd largest economy in Africa what it is today while Saraki ruined Kwara state thru his dubious way. When tinubu was Senator, saraki was working in societe bank with his father. Tinubu fielded, Atiku and Ribadu for president. Tinubu forfeited his VP position for Osinbajo in 2015 when discovered Muslim/Muslim ticket won’t work. After Awolowo in Nigeria, it Tinubu. 11 Likes |
