ArtisanOga is now hiring Field enumerators in Lagos. No experience necessary but ability to use smart phones and detailed experience is a plus. We will train candidates who meet our qualifications and have a great work ethic. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working as freelancers and independently, while still being part of a larger team.

Key Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the field enumerator are as follows:
Pre-Enumeration duties:
• Attend enumerators’ training and strictly follow clients survey protocols;
• Receive enumeration materials and equipment from the team leader
Enumeration duties:
• Locate sample members
• Conduct interviews with respondents
• Record responses as instructed
• Comply with the requirements necessary for conducting a successful interview
Post-Enumeration duties:
• Report any unusual situations to the team leader on a daily basis
• Ensure that all questionnaires and equipment are accounted for
• Turn over all literature and materials used in the survey to the team leader
• Follow confidentiality and security procedures to ensure respondent privacy is protected
Requirements
Skills and competence
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
• Highly organized individual, punctual, capable of handling multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing time effectively
• Ability to work independently as well as an effective team player
• Willing to work on the field, especially in Lagos.
• Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience with survey-based work as an enumerator an advantage.
