Contrary to widespread belief that six billion naira will be spent on feeding of Police force, The Independent National Electoral Commission have debunked the rumors
According to information made available to Naija Politico, this is a response to an article which made frontpage on nairaland https://www.nairaland.com/4681939/inec-budget-2019-election-breakdown

“lNEC did not budget N6 billion to feed the police.

There is no budget head for feeding the police in the INEC Election Budget.

What we do have is a budget head for feeding all election personnel on
election days and it covers all INEC permanent and ad hoc staff, presiding officers, supervisors, monitors, collation and returning officers and all security personnel on election duty includng the police, NSDC, lmmigration, Prison & NDLEA officers, etc numbering in excess of a million people. The estimated budget for this is more than 25% less than what is being bandied around and it covers all elections including bye elections, re runs, run offs
and court ordered elections.

Nobody discredited Inec.
It was just a wrong perception

Imagine BMC's above who were already breaking down the cost of feeding to police officers have changed mouth to PDP bringing false news as if the link that carried the news was not TVC ( Tinubu's news station)

These people are unbelieveable.. it wont cost nothing to tell the truth sometimes.

if they are paid for their services on election day why spend more money feeding them again. this is a waste of money in my opinion. i thought this government said they would stop wasteful spending
