Nigerian senators receive one of the highest pay in the world, they've been sitting their fat ass at home past months and yet their pay doesn't stop. Now they don't want to reconvene , what a joke of a country.

If a cleaner on 15000 naira a month is absent at work for days, he/she may loose his/her job, yet a senator cost Nigerians over 50 million naira a month.

Their sitting at home may have cost us over 10 billion in wages they didn't work for, that money comes from you and I one way or the other.

The nass is on a two months legal break. It ends in September. They haven't 'been sitting their fat ass at home past months'

If they are not careful, many of them will not return. They should go and beg the State governors. APC is returning the politics to the grassroots... you can't win NASS and say bye bye to your constituencies till election year again. It is wrong!

State governors are only behaving like gods.
They do and undo. You can't express a diverse view of from that of your governor and you'll be shut out.

Apparently disturbed by the intrigues surrounding the proposed election budget for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which may likely decide the fate of their reelection in the 2019 polls, some All Progressives Congress (APC) Senators want their resumption delayed.


The development, which is evidently culminating in a panic among the APC lawmakers, Transitpress gathered, might become a clog in the wheel of efforts by the presidency to get the National Assembly to reconvene as early as possible to consider and approve INEC’s budget for the forthcoming general polls.
