zakim:Stop misleading the public, the balance of the N46b is what the President proposed that it could be made available in 2019 before the election. The total budget is N189 which the INEC proposed it should be approved at a goal. What the Senate proposed today was the N143B will be made available this year and thereafter the balance of N46 would be made available before 2019 election. 1 Like |

Re: BREAKING: INEC Budget: N/assembly Rejects N189bn, Insists On N143bn by Afamed: 5:12pm On Aug 27, 2018 |
SolutionMee:Misleading, the Senate only concluded the total budget of N189b should be made installmentally. The Senate proposed N143b should be made available before the election and the balance of N46b will be made available before the 2019 election. Stop mastubating on deceit and Propaganda 1 Like |

slivertongue:Don't believe the hearsays the op posted. The Senate as at committee level that sat today never reduced the INEC budget. What the Senate did was to make the N189b available to INEC in 2 instalments. The Senate committee on electoral matters proposed to approve N143b now and by 2019 before the election promised to approve the balance of N46b. 1 Like |

I wonder the kind of school some of us attended. The National assembly Joint committee, according to the news adopt N143 billion earlier presented by PMB. INEC is asking for more(N189Billion). From the various comments made by nairalanders here, shows that the alot of the political crisis in this country are as a result of blind followership. Any objective reader will not come here and be accusing PMB or hailing Saraki.I pity our youths. zakim: 1 Like |
