Folks! I got inspired with a deep connection channeled to writing poems. Believe me, I wrote a whole lot and this is one. Look at my face you’ll see a pretty girl, Look at my smile you’ll see nothing wrong, Look in my mind and you’ll be consumed by the darkness that plagues it, You’ll be haunted by the dark thoughts. Lift up my shirt and you’ll see the marks, The marks left by my best friend. It’s not a human nor is it an animal, It’s my blade, It has my blood and has seen the darkness of my heart, It cuts so smoothly i don’t even feel it, Yet, no one knows it, They suspect that nothing is wrong. It’s funny how much a smile can hide, My smile hides my tears, It also hides my scars I’m going insane, but I don’t show it People talk to me daily and still don’t notice it, I am insane and I only have myself to blame. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
