TWITTER REACTS TO THERESA MAY DANCING WITH SCHOOL CHILDREN IN SOUTH AFRICA
The British Prime minister, Theresa May is currently in South Africa for trade talks as the first leg of her “Global Britain” Africa tour.

The British PM is also expected to visit Kenya and Nigeria later in the week.

The visit is to strengthen trade deals with the African nations as Brexit finalisation draws near.

BISI ALIMI REACTS TO ARREST OF 57 SUSPECTED HOMOSEXUALS IN LAGOS
Over the weekend, the Lagos state police command arrested 57 suspected homosexuals who were allegedly being initiated into the act of homosexuality.

The 57 suspects were paraded before newsmen yesterday.

Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi, therefore reacted to this allegation on his Instagram page on Tuesday stating that the idea of a gay initiation party shows a lack of responsibility on the part of the Nigerian police.

LEAH SHARIBU SPEAKS FROM CAPTIVITY, ASKS BUHARI TO PITY HER IN NEW AUDIO RECORDING
Leah Sharibu, the only Christian among the abducted 119 students of Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe state, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to save her from captivity.

As a “proof of life” amidst speculations on her fate, TheCable has exclusively obtained her latest picture as well as the audio of her plea to Buhari.

Leah, who was kidnapped in February, also appealed that her family members be assisted.

IT IS HER VOICE! LEAH SHARIBU’S PARENT CONFIRM RELEASED AUDIO TAPE
The Parents of Leah Sharibu, the only Dapchi schoolgirl still held captive by Boko Haram insurgents, have confirmed that the voice from an audio message published by Online news platform, The Cable is that of their daughter, Leah.

The Nation, who exclusively spoke to Leah’s parents after the audio tape was made public, reports that both Mr Nathan Sheribu and his wife Rebecca told their correspondent on phone that their hope has been re-ignited by the recent development having heard their daughters voice and seeing her recent picture.

Leah Sharibu’s audio message and a recent ‘proof-of-life’ picture of her wearing a brown hijab dress and sitting on a mat were published by The Cable.

NIGERIANS REACT TO LEAH SHARIBU’S RELEASED AUDIO TAPE
A voice recording of Leah Sharibu, the sole Dapchi school girl still in Boko Haram captivity is currently the centre of heated debate by Nigerians on social media platform, Twitter.

It will be recalled that Leah and her 118 other colleagues were in February abducted from their school, Government Girls Secondary School Dapchi, Yobe State by armed men later disclosed to be a faction of the terrorist group, Boko Haram. After negotiations with the Nigerian government, 106 of the abducted girls were returned in March but Leah was left behind, because, according to reports, she refused to denounce Christianity and convert to the Boko Haram-influenced islam.
