It is no longer news that the British prime minister Theresa may, said that Nigeria houses the poorest people more than other nations in the African continent.

May, disclosed that many Nigerians live on less than $1.90 every day, despite that the country is enjoying “a resurgent economy.”

The Prime Minister who is scheduled to visit Nigeria today made the assertion during her visit to South AFrica on tuesday.

Now, what does the British wants to achieve with this statement?

1. They have almost exonerated themselves from the problems of Nigeria through this statement. Before now, they have been lot's of accusing fingers on the British concerning the ills of Nigeria. They steal Nigerian resources and give Nigerian politicians the fertile ground to loot and hide what they left.

2. Everybody knows the role the British played in bringing this current government in power and we all know too well the support this current government has enjoyed so far from them, but they have turned around to exonerate theselves from the outcome of the government they nurtured. We have not forgotten all the time and money the Nigerian President spent in the Uk. The medical bills and the presidential packing lot bills are enough to liberate more than 500,000 thousand Nigerians from poverty.

3. With this statement of hers, she has successfully diverted the criticisms that would have accompanied her visit to Nigeria and increased her acceptability rate among common Nigerians thereby paving the way for her to get all she is coming for(what an evil smart people).

Finally, the British and Theresa may should know that they can't fool all of us. We know their antecedents and the roles they've played so far in bringing Nigeria to the state it is now. People should stop applauding her statement and rightly tackle her on what has befallen Nigeria that is in her care.

They have left the EU so as to enjoy their Nigerian loots alone.

The British wants to steal African resources and eat alone after brexit. What an irony.
