There is a big problem with the world we live in, where aesthetics is placed over human life and safety.

Most floor tiles and bath finishings should not even be approved by Standards Organization for their extremely smooth finishing which isn't anti-slip. This is compounded by the fact that soap and water are recipes for slipping. Really unfortunate.

It's not SON's fault at all. They approved quality products that meet standard. It's our people who are using tiles made for walls or bedrooms floors for toilets and bathrooms floors. Or, do they consult SON before using wrong tiles on bathrooms floors?

Have you also observed that bath tubs are also of slippery material? Many floor tiles are just too slippery and should be discouraged.
