Former minister of Aviation and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Femi Fani-Kayode, has stated that removing President Muhammadu Buhari from office is not the solution to the problems bedeviling Nigeria.

According to him, Nigeria’s problems ofNigeria can only be solved by having a credible and all-encompassing referendum and ensuring that “our so-called federation is properly and thoroughly restructured.”

He stated this in a new month message posted on his Facebook wall.

He said, “Election fever has gripped our country and many want to be President. Some are serious contenders whilst others are not. Yet the truth is that our problems cannot be solved simply by a Presidential election.

“It is a good start but it is not a cure all. We need to do far more than just electing a new President if we want lasting peace, if we want to flourish as a people and if we want to grow as a nation.

I've always known that this man doesn't have any real grouse against Buhari. His mission has always been to continue to spin hate, insults and conspiracy theories about how Fulani intends to take over Nigeria, and of course to win the sympathy of IPOB faithfuls. And the peak of it is for him to be called back to the APC and decorated with one juicy position, but APC were wiser and simply chose to ignore his daily rants.
Here he's now saying that removing Buhari would not "solve the problems of Nigeria" just because the police has called him for questioning about his hate speech. So much for a "principled man" that he claims to be.

I agree totally with him.Though removing Buhari will solve part of the problem but most will be solved by a review and redirection of the present system of governance.

Under Buhari, thieving in government is still striving, poverty is spiking, crime is the order of the day, people are dying; Boko Haram are killing human and the Herdsmen are slitting throats without hinder.
