For the past two months the committee on the prestigious Anambra Hall of Fame Project has been saddled with the responsibility of screening different names nominated for the 2018 Anambra Hall of Fame Awards.

Recall that there was open call for nomination which commenced on the 1st June and ended on the 31st June 2018.

This call received different nomination of outstanding personalities who have impacted lives through their various projects in their various communities.

These outstanding personalities were duly screened and selected by an independent committee based on the following criteria;
The individual who must be an indigene of Anambra stat, must have done one or more of the following philanthropic works or similar acts of philanthropy between 2010 and 2018.

1. Constructed and tarred roads in the community.

2. Built church in the community

3. Donated bus to the improvement of the community/ university/school

4. Renovated school building, primary/ secondary/ university

5. Established sports activity for various communities

6. Supported young ones in the community to acquire skills.

7. Built town hall centers for the community

8. Provided books yearly for the less privileged children in primary and secondary schools

9. Organized social activity for the youths in the community.

The compiled list of the successful awardees will be released on the 3rd of September.
Come 29th of September 2018, the prestigious Anambra Hall of Fame Awards will be presented to recipients under the auspices of his Excellency Chief. Dr. Willie Obiano.
