The incident occurred after a disagreement between some of the students and a commercial driver on Saturday. The driver was alleged to have shortchanged the students and reneged on an earlier agreement to drop them off at a location. The students were said to have regrouped on Sunday and with the support of some of their colleagues and stormed the park. This ensued in a fight between the students and residents of the community.
