- Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to open his goals account for Juventus after three games

- Max Allegri has now issued some words of advice for Ronaldo who scored for fun in Spain

- Ronaldo joined the Bianconeri from Los Blancos during the summer transfer window Juventus manager Max Allegri has explained the reason why summer arrival Cristiano Ronaldo is struggling to find the net for the Bianconeri in the Italian topflight.

According to a UK Daily Star report, the Portuguese superstar surprised football followers after completing a switch to Serie A champions Juventus from Spanish giants Real Madrid in July. At the last count the former Manchester United forward claimed three successive Champions League silverwares before opting for new adventure in Italy.

Reportedly, the Bianconeri coughed out about £100m to take the 33-year-old, who is currently the world’s best player but had found life tough at the Serie A amid goals drought after 270 minutes of football with the Turin-based outfit.

Interestingly, Ronaldo has now emerged the first player in Europe’s top five leagues that could not net a goal after his first 23 attempts in a Juve shirt - ten attempts more than the next player on the list.

Although the Portuguese boost of an incredible goalscoring pedigree in the Spanish topflight this simply translates to a goal per game in his nine-season stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However Juventus boss Allegri thinks the Portuguese superstar will find it tough to achieve such feat in the Italian topflight as goals are tougher to come by. "Italian football presents different problems and it takes time," Allegri said. "He’s not getting the rub of the green at the moment either – the ball is not bouncing right for him or he’s shooting just off target.

"They study every match to try not to concede space to the other teams. "Everyone puts Serie A down but it’s very difficult for a player to score 40 goals a season. "Gonzalo Higuain did it once, but was an extraordinary feat. "Usually the top scorer in Italy scores 26 or 27 goals. And usually the top scorer in Italy never wins the title. So maybe it’s better for us,” the highly-respected football tactician submitted.
