Nigeria has been tipped to become the leading producer of food in the globe, if certain fundamental problems are addressed in the Agricultural sector. This was the projection of a Professor of Agricultural Products Processing and Storage, Folarin Alonge during the an annual lecture programme of students in the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Akwa Ibom State University.

Alonge, who is the South-South Regional Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), stressed that the development of the nation's Agricultural sector requires concerted effort, where all stakeholders will need to contribute and promote national interest ahead of personal gains.

Screw the Nigerian government!
They have been overly incompetent since forever.
If Nigeria will ever be great, the onus lies with dogged individual who will wade through the terrible business climate to bring about true change.

I will help bring this "what-if" projection to reality.
