BUDESHI DATATHON
In commemoration of the 3rd Anniversary of the launch of Budeshi, we present to you the “Budeshi Datathon”. For 3 years, Budeshi has been highlighting the relevance of contracting data gotten from Ministries, Departments and Agencies to the welfare of the citizens. Budeshi Datathon is intended to be a collaborative and rewarding event comprising of a number of activities/challenges centered around the use of data from our civic tech tool Budeshi to promote and advocate for better service delivery.

Writers Challenge
This is an essay challenge/competition in which participants are required to write a blog post or article related to procurement, corruption, transparency and accountability, making reference to budeshi and/or predominantly using data sets from the platform.

HOMEVIDA
The HomeVida platform is inviting Nigerians to compete for its Internet4All creative video competition. The competition supported by Google will offer Nigerians an opportunity to showcase the economic and socio-cultural prospects through skits or tell a magnificent story through their own creativity. Entries must highlight one or a combination of the following;

How the internet serves as a hub to boost creativity from various walks of life/professions.
How the internet serves as a booster for the growth of the local economy.
How the internet improves the quality of lives in the area of service delivery.
How the internet has been used to promote good governance and citizen participation in governance.
Prizes
1st Prize: N250,000, 2nd Prize: N150,000, 3rd Prize: N100,000
