Responsibilities

The Registrar shall be the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice chancellor for the day to day running of the University.
He shall also be the Secretary to the Governing Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation
Requirements

The ideal applicant must possess a minimum of Second Class in Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (B.A /B.Sc )and a Master of Arts/Master of Science, (M.A/M.Sc) from a recognized University with at least 14 years of relevant post graduation experience in University administration or a similar institution, and should not be below the rank of Deputy Registrar.
Shall be between the ages of 45 – 60 years
Possession of a higher degree and membership of recognized professional bodies such as CIPM, NIM, and ANUPA will be an advantage.
The applicant must be a team player with, good leadership qualities to inspire and motivate a crop of administrative officers.
He/She must command respect, be ready to instill confidence and relate with subordinates.
Salary
We operate a Salary Structure and Condition of service comparable to what obtains in the Nigeria University System.
