Tomialph's query is pretty valid, and one any prospective buyer would ask. Besides, your attitude's doing you no favours - you've no idea who could turn out to be a serious buyer.

So, please be forth coming with information on any car you're selling. Is your Camry from Canada, or Europe? Cars from the United States will have the speedo caliberated in both mph and km/h, with mph the default (outer) scale.

Why would I want to conduct an inspection on a car somewhat controversial? you claimed it's from america while it's speedometer is caliberated in KMs n not Miles,you've left us with no other conclusion other than the fact that you are either ignorant of the source of the car and most probably a middle man or you have intentions deceiving prospective buyers. Being slopy in biz won't take you far,

There's nothing wrong in clarifying issues on a car you're selling, and nothing wrong in prospective clients asking questions.

I've been in the automobile industry for as long as I can remember, and certain aspects of a written text regarding certain models may not ring true. It's common sense to call up a seller on these issues, and clarify, before embarking on an inspection trip, or making calls, some of which may be long-distance.

One can never tell who's a potential buyer, and I'd have thought Tetley as a businessman would have known this. Yes, you'll get some "lookers" that never buy, but it's best to assume EVERY ONE that enquires is a potential client, that way, you'll never go wrong. Being rude (see his other threads) isn't endearing, and won't do one any favours.
