Spoilers. Mortal Kombat isn’t number 1
So, as a combo freak I love to see endless a$$ whooping that’s why I love DMC because, as long as a bad guy doesn’t die, you can combo it as long as you want or can.

But this is about fighting games. I’ve been searching about games with the most fanciest longest combos and I came to this conclusion of the top ones ranked from last to first.

7. Super Smash Bros

I honestly don't like this game because it's too cartoony/childish. But it seems to get a lot of love from the people who play it.

I've seen the gameplay and well, it does look kinda okay. You'd have to hit someone on a wall or a hole or some sh!t to pull off a decent percentage combo.

6. Tekken (7)

Tekken has nice nice combos but, they hit the ground way too fast. It's even depicted on the way they fall while getting hit. The legs are so close to the ground and the body inclined in a way that it must hit the ground with free combos. And it is too magic-based which makes it's combos just weird to me.

5. Street Fighter (V)

With the evolution of Street fighter in IV and V, Street Fighter have just been recently including some significant amount of features in their fighting. Like the power bar and some reasonable number of combos with fancy and beautiful effects. It doesn't have too many combos but, it does well with the few it has

4. Mortal Kombat

It's weird to put up Mortal Kombat their early... I know. But I feel MK's combos are just getting lazier by every release.

Who remembers Ultimate MK3? That was the sh!t. It is the GTA: San Andreas (in the modern open world games genre) of fighting games.

I was not very impressed with the Combo system of MKX. It feels lazy, laggy, unsatisfying etc.
So that is why I'm putting it up in the number 4 spot.

3. Injustice

Now we continue to our top 3 fighting games with the most fancy and multiple combos.

Injustice was developed by netherealm so, i cannot for the life of me figure out why they would keep enhancing the combo system of Injustice and be lazying away MK combo system. At least that's how i feel. Injustice combos are more satisfying when you execute them.

2. Killer Instinct

Coming up on the number 2 spot is a game popularly known as KI. It is built around combos and for combos. You could say it is a combo-based fighting game. When you execute it, it glorifies your effort. Remember that legendary Ultraaaaaaaaaaaaa! Yea, that's blood rushing. It could easily be number 1 but, it's combo system at some point begins to be repetitive and that gets boring with time.
The newest release to the franchise also glorifies your combo effort by playing the soundtrack to rhyme with your combo while you execute it. If that isn't bliss, i don't wanna know what is.

1. Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3
Coming on the number 1 spot is this crazy game. This game series is insanely amazing how well and fun it executes combos. The fact that Capcom were the developers makes me confirm that the less number of combos in street fighter is just a design style and nothing to do with limitation. I watched a clip where different characters are conjured up to take turns in whooping just one person and the combo count keeps reading.

It might come as a surprise, yes it was a surprise for me too to realize that i find this game to be the game with the BEST combo styles and crazy combo counts.
