2019 will be a significant electoral year in the history of Nigeria as power mongers have taken the Centre stage in order to jostle for the highest office in the land. Addressing the media earlier today in Lagos, Hon. Olabode John Wesley, vying for the Federal House of Representatives, Ekiti Central, Constituency 1 on the platform of the Young Democratic Party said it is essential for the electorates to guard their hearts jealously against future political promises heartbreak. He said 2019 will witness 3 major political arrows that will be fired by these power mongers at the electorates will be fired at in desperate move to occupy office. These 3 arrows are:

M - Manipulation
D - Deception
C - Corruption

These power mongers will do everything possible to manipulate election results, steal the people’s mandate and also activate collisions amongst supporters.

They will deceive the electorates once more with promises they will never fulfill, act up drama scenes to warm up the hearts of electorates and dangle deceptive baits just to win the elections.

They will explore the power of corruption at its peak, advertise money to the electorates in order to buy their votes at all cost, buy over candidates with people’s mandate and truncate the mission to achieve a credible, free and fair elections come 2019. My word of grace to voters is to ensure they guard their votes, refuse to sell them and ensure their future is secured by doing everything possible to vote the right people into power. Once we get it wrong come 2019, it will be a long walk to freedom. God Bless Nigeria!
