Hello everyone am aspiring to study computer science just because I want to be a soldier and a cyber operator specialist to be precise but the issue here is am not a fan of mathematics tho I have B2 in waec but am still always scared about maths

You know the beauty about identifying a weakness? You can strengthen it. You are on the Internet, you have Google as a resource, you know what to do -- search for ways to improve your math skills. I wish I had such a helpful tool during my time as a student.

Computer science is not like being a genius mathematican.
An average mathetmatican can be a computer scientist.

You would do more of Advanced maths...wait till you see numerical analysis.... till like 200l and if you can get the basic procedures & PRACTICE, you're good to go. Even if your lecturer is the mad type. I failed maths until my Waec. Why?

Because I failed to consistently practice.

Nobody taught me to go over problems 10x until I started dreaming in numbers & humbly run to my whizkids colleagues if 1 only preferred to manifest in verbal form.

I dread having an extra year in our nigerian institutions. I never got below B till I graduated...In C.S. Never underestimate yourself

You are going to do Math for your first year and second year
Subjects like
1. Trigonometry
2. Algebra
3. Set and Number system
4. Differential and Integral Calculus
5. Conic section
6. Vector and dynamic
7. Linear algebra
8. Mathematical method
9. Numerical Analysis
10. Abstract Algebra
11. Real Analysis

For your Third and Forth year Math courses are elective You should be more worried about the physics and Statistic you would do for first and second year cause the Math are not that hard as you can see they are the topic you treated in Sec School, only this time its not joined together........Good Luck
