In saner climes, drugs like this are not sold in pharmacies like that. You'll need to register with your national ID card before it is dispensed to you. It is also the duty of the pharmacy to send your ID to the local police office so that they can monitor usage.

And who told you they buy such drugs from pharmacies?? They buy from patent medicine stores not pharmacies! Most pharmacies would demand for prescription before they dispense such drugs.
I used to buy tramadol before and each time I try buying from pharmacies, they would start asking for doctor's prescription, so I got the drug from patent medicine stores then.

I dunno may be most of u derive joy in writing nonsense about Islam or ur ar suffering from brain tumor.Because imam or son of sultan or northerner indulge in hard drugs has nothing to do with weather Islam support it or not, when will u people start thinking as reasonable human being?? What Islam says is there in our holy book,it has nothing to do with wat sultan or top Islamic cleric engage on,use ur sense rather than typing gibberish here.....

There must be different versions of Koran.

Which ones are the Taliban and Boko Haram using?
Is Afghanistan not known for opium cultivation? Is Saudi Arabia intolerant to alcohol?

Take a closer look at Boko Haram. You support them when it affects others but cry for help when they point the barrels of the guns towards you.

Therein lies the hypocrisy! Pushed to the wall, you threaten people with violence as if you are made of steel. If life is meaningless to you hypocrites, why are you running to IDP camps? Is there an alert that virgins are in short supply in Jannah/Firdaws?

And it isn't common amongst children of the elite down South

Did you say this about Alison Madueke's son when those lewd pictures of his went viral?

What about the children of our "Men of God"? Don't we know the kind of lives they lead? What about our governors and other bigwigs? Are you ignorant of their lifestyle?

Why do we like making such sweeping statements about Northerners once a news is reported about one of theirs? Why don't we apply the same judgement over ourselves?

This attitude is just disgusting. It makes one see everything wrong with others and become absolutely blind to their own faults and imperfections.
thanks for ur comment, d issue on ground as little to do with ethnicity, cos we lack proper leadership all over Nigeria, not just d north alone.

If he was really on a codeine diet, he would slow down and not run fast.

lol... codeine makes one slow, but not the machinery he operates. He'll be slow to know when his vehicle picks up speed. slow to know that he's now speeding.. slow to know the speed and slow to react.

The vehicle is not on a codeine diet. grin

Let him come and tell us how the ban on codiene has stop the useless youths up north from taking drugs.

You can't stop abuse of drugs without enlightening the drug abuser.

Exactly. But in Nigeria everything goes, and the government turns a blind eye to such.

It seems Nigerians have yet to realize the effects of drugs on their healths. Many deaths we witness on daily basis are caused directly or indirectly by drugs! But our senseless leaders would not care to strictly regulate our drug markets.

Most of those patent medicine guys don't know anything about the harmful effects of drugs. They only care about making profits while sending many people to their early graves.
There should be a strict rule that those who want to deal on drugs should proceed to pharmacy schools to study pharmacy or open a pharmacy and employ a superintendent pharmacist to be in charge of the pharmacy, but those in authority here in Nigeria are not the thinking types.
