oluwaseyi000:That they were told that TRAINS will not operate on that day. That made them to sleep on the TRACK. They said they were misinformed. Don’t be surprised they will start attacking the village of the little boy who misinformed them. We are finished. 2 Likes |

If things were being done rightly in Nigeria, the cows would have been in their ranch and alive now. This movement involves dangers and hazards on the animals. But they will always think that to ranch cows is simply in the interest of crop farmers, their rivals. It remains the best option for all. 1 Like |

FG will pay them to the last Kobo they mentioned and even compensate them for the trauma they went through and their time. Federal government that that values a cow's life than the lives 10 soldiers, not then to talk of ordinary citizens! |

dainformant: Who misinformed them? Who was the person that gave them information that they could cross over the rail track at a point where there is no terminal rail crossing sign for interpretation? I see that the cows were crushed over a bridge. What on earth are cows doing crossing along a bridge? A commissioner of police saying such things about cows should at least get his facts very right before blurting out to the press just so that he can cover for his brethren. |

lucianohase: That smart-aleck is trying to paint the herders the saints, trying to give them the soft landing in order to absolve them of blames for what happened to their cows. "After all, trains don't work on Sundays, they said; so why should the stupid train choose to run on the Sunday they choose to "trek" on the railway?" Does the average fulani herder knows, or even cares to know the route to the transport ministry to ask the itinerary of the train, or do they even care about the owners of the land they prowl enough to approach them for information? As far as I know, the only route these inglorious herders know is their "self-imagined" grazing route which can cut through any places as they seem fit: Villages, towns, roads, footpaths, rivers, farmlands, even your living room and bedroom if you mistakenly leave your doors unlocked. And what's more, you dare not stop 'em. |
