YouTube rolled out the Dark Theme feature to reduce glare and allow users to enjoy the true colors of video contents on YouTube. The YouTube Dark Theme will help users save battery when using the app especially if the phone uses AMOLED display as the dark pixels will be off completely.

Let’s hope that this step from YouTube will push other major applications to embrace the Dark Theme

Activate YouTube Dark Theme on Mobile
Launch the YouTube app
Click on the profile icon
Click on settings
Locate “General” and click on it
And finally, enable the Dark theme
