Group accuses bayelsa PDP Chairman of attempting to impose an unpopular candidate to favour APC.

PDP Youth group in Bayelsa State, Southern-Ijaw constituency IV, have alleged that the state party boss, Moses cleopas, is intent on bringing the party to disrepute in Southern-Ijaw LGA.

The group noted that the party boss has been in secret talks with the APC, and is bent on dragging the party to failure in the forthcoming legislative polls.

The group who spoke through it's spokesman via a press release, Mr. Azibalua Tukuru, stated that Moses cleopas is a beneficiary of oil contracts, awarded to David Lyon, an APC chieftain, and is therefore using that relationship to secure victory for the APC, by presenting an unpopular PDP candidate in the area, that is arranged to lose out to the APC in the general polls.

They further called on the Governor and other stakeholders of PDP in the state, to rise up, and ensure a free and fair delegates election in the constituency.

Tukuru, also said, that there is also a grand plot in Moses planned arrangement, to shortchange the original delegates with made up names, in order to perfect his plan.

Tukuru warned that if cleopas is allowed to have his way, the PDP is therefore bent on eventual failure, he called on leaders to prevail over cleopas to save the party from imminent defeat in Southern-Ijaw constituency four.
