Hi, Just wondering what ur iews on contraception are and if it is available in Naija culture. Any Naija womanI know has either just given birth and planning to easily become pregnant again or are just about to give birth. Is this normal in Nigerian culture to always give birth? I know we should alll be fruitful and multiply, but how can u work F/T in the western world and keep up with that? In conclusion, is this generally expected of the wife to have as many kids as possibel? |

This happens all over the world and in ALL countries, there are a lot of stay-at-home moms. Then also consider that women are getting married later in life these days so the race against the biological clock begins immediately after they are married until they get the num of kids they want. |

Leilah:Leilah, you really need to get a real life. What's up with you, the Naija woman and the culture?. You are forever making baseless assumptions about different topics to maybe make you feel better about your low-life self. I am just absolutely irritated by you and your stupid comments posed as questions. Respect your self and stop generalizing over here. it is really shameful. You really need to give your fingers a rest as you make no sense at all. Okay ![]() |

The wife is not expected to have as many children as possible. We use the same contraceptive measures that are used in other countries. We have I.U.D, Condoms, Femidoms, Vascetomy, Tubal Ligation, Diaphragms, Spermicides, Calendar method, Temperature method, billings method, Oral contraceptives, IM contraceptives, e.t.c Couples are free to use which ever they are comfy with and can afford. |

Nigerians aren't rabbits U know? Even rabbits don't breed ALL the time. If U think we're that many U should try checking up China. |
