Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has surrendered himself to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC indicating that he is ready to answer questions on the management of funds under his watch.

In a letter dated September 10, Fayose promised to make himself available at the office of the antigraft agency barely 24 hours after the expiry of his constitutional immunity.

The letter stamped ‘received by the EFCC’ on Tuesday partly read: “I wish to inform you that my term of office pursuant to which I enjoy immunity against investigation and prosecution under the above provision shall lapse by effluxion of time on Monday, October 15th, 2018...continue...
