If you observe in recent times, British council had increased IELTS exams in Nigeria twice between two years, despite the rate at which Nigerian flood their offices for exams, In just one week, more than 700 people write this exams in Lagos centers alone, there are other centers in Abuja, Ibadan, and PHC. this exam is not better than Jamb, or WAEC, yet we spend 75,000 on IELTS. British council will not loose anything if they conduct this exam at 35,000. Nigerians must kick against this exploitation of the poor. Leaders should take things like this up to help the poor. Challenge your politicians to push this forward.
