THE FACULTY OF PHARMACY HAS FINALLY CALLED OFF HER STRIKE

After an emergency meeting held on the 11th day of September, 2018 involving the Excos of the Nigerian Association of Pharmacists in the Academia, University of Benin Chapter, with the Vice - Chancellor, the body finally agreed to put paid to the lingering strike which has crippled academic activities for a while and almost obliterated the chances of students of pharmacy writing their exams with the rest of students.

The Association thanked the Vice - Chancellor immensely for his commitment and sensitivity towards the needs of the Association. The Association called off the strike on the assurance that the school will commence the payment of professional allowances to pharmacy lecturers in December, 2018 and to implement the stoppage of accumulation of arrears. This has being the agitation of the Association.

Upon this amicable and extensive deliberations, the following resolutions which were made by Nigerian Association of Pharmacists in Academia (NAPA) congress led to the membership agreement to resume their core services with alacrity without much ado.
