kindnyce: This is way beyond Tinubu. Its the other party members that Ambode sidelined who want him out. All Lawma contractors are APC members and Ambode kicked them out to bring in Vision Landscape (and they failed). So this is payback for him. Nigerian politics is a shared chopping arrangement, and Ambode refused to take care of "the boys" and now he needs "the boys" to get into power. Until Nigeria accepts independent candidates, all aspirants need foot soldiers in their party. |

HIGHESTPOPORI: He can’t do anything! What can he do? It is the people of Lagos that will suffer for it as he will practically sign over the state to Tinubu! It seems you don’t know how strong Tinubu’s grip is on Lagos? And he prides himself on performance—that’s why he’s still relevant till today. |

AZeD1: Nawaoo, so, as it is, Ambodes fate lies in the hand of the supposed contractors and APC apologist. Well, politics is all about interest, he ought to have greased their palms. |

millionboi2: Politics is a game of numbers. If Ambode is sure of himself, he should contest the primaries and test his popularity. For all we know, Tinubu is in support of direct primaries in Lagos state. Isn't Direct primaries the most transparent thing to do? 2 Likes |

PrecisionFx: I am sure even you don’t believe your comment about Buhari. Even though I hate the man, I admit and acknowledge that he’s the most powerful northern politician of the era. He has more than a cult following self. The poor of the north believe he’s the only politician with integrity in Nigeria. That’s why Buhari is the 3rd Mahdi of Islam in Nigeria. Ahmadu Bello was the first but I don’t know the second. 1 Like |

kindnyce: Party tickets are not automatic and you need party members to support you in order to win the ticket. He took the contracts party members were handling and gave it to a worse company and now he needs their support? Ambode's problem started when he felt he only needed Tinubu's support and others would fall in line. He forgot that Tinubu has made it this far because everyone is eating from pot. 2 Likes |

AZeD1: On point! Tinibu's dexterity in political spheres involved doling out favours of all kinds to party faithfuls. That way, he was able to win their trust and loyalty. I agree with your postulations. 5 Likes |

Seriously for me this is a welcome development. Let them and others keep having issues with the jagaban. And I pray Ambode wins whether Jagaban backs him or not. How can one man pocket a whole State for himself and unborn children. |

Hotfreeze: See who is talking. The South East is still topping the charts in WAEC for the past 7-10 years or more (despite not having schools, according to your idiotic postulation), while your South West states like Osun are fighting for the bottom with Boko Haram ravaged states like Borno and Yobe. Isn't that a shame? |

Andhominem: What would you have Ambode do than rely on Tinubu? Does Ambode have the clout to build his own structure? Even Fashola that was popular failed at building a structure. You think it’s easy to be free from Tinubu in Lagos? It’s only God that can deliver us from Tinubu ooo. No be easy something. |

resurgent2019: Throwing around islamic words that u dont even know its meaning. Buhari is only popular wen he is contesting against southerners. Against GEJ 2 times and against OBJ once, He won the entire NE n NW. But against fellow fulani man from the north in 2007< he was beaten blue black |
Re: Ambode: Despite Tinubu’s Hard Stance, Presidency Pushes For Peace Deal by Andhominem: 7:11pm On Sep 17, 2018 |
resurgent2019: He shouldn't have organised local government elections. Appointed LG and LCDA leaders would have been loyal to him at this time unlike the elected ones. They would have been ready footsoldiers at this time. Also, he should have tried to get a few assembly members to his side long before now. |

resurgent2019: I hope so. But Tinubu's political end is at hand. I trust Buhari to back Ambode till the end. At the end, Tinubu will be left empty handed in terms of loyal SW governors. Buhari would have had them all on his side. Too bad! |
