This exposes the weakness of Nigerian foreign policy,i would expect that by now the ministry of foreign affairs would respond to this in kind.picking on someone because of nationality or colour is against servel united nation conventions and thus the thai government must be warned,if they wish to go down that road we are ready to match them, the ministry of interior should compile a list of all thais in nigeria for the same treatment

The deputy tourist police chief Pol Maj-General Surachet Hakpal, on Saturday, said the police will soon conclude their focus on all 1,400 Nigerians living in Thailand.

Surachet said police would recheck Nigerians living in the country, to ensure they are living in accordance with the purposes they stated in their entry visa applications.

He said singling out the entirety of one nationality for police attention was needed after “many Nigerians” were found to be taking part in romance scams deceiving Thai women.

He added that five Nigerians had been arrested in romance scams where they deceived 48 Thai women out of Bt5.9 million.

to be masters not for greener pasture,

so you now see the difference.

a sane Thai will not think of coming, except for work such as diplomats, expatriates

only a corrupt minded one will, since he/she knows the thrives on corruption.

The Thai law is pretty straight forward - foreigners are required to renew their stay every couple of months - even if you are married to a Thai person.

This is called visa run - so [s]every 3 months you will need to leave the country[/s]. Obviously our folks are not doing that. [s]So they would be easily deported after rounded up[/s].

I guess the next group would be the African prostitutes

PLEASE SPREAD THIS MESSAGE AROUND SOCIAL MEDIA!

This is an appeal to all Nigerians living or visiting any part of the world.

Please anytime you see IGBO people at any airport or streets around the world, call police - you will be saving the lives of other Nigerians.

I have called the police for over three dozen IGBOs at airports and cities in Asia, Middle East, Europe and Africa, many were found with drugs, 419 gear and other contraband on their person or at their homes.

As a Nigerian you can spot them easily by some traits.

If you want to get more respect at airports, cities, and streets as a Nigerian, you need to ensure the people responsible for the bad reputation of Nigerians abroad are stopped.

Research shows that many places where blacks (not just Nigerians) face sudden humiliation, racism, rejection and abuse were caused by IGBO drug dealers and 419 operatives having been in the news for the wrong reasons. The recent one I saw even black American men are now stopped and searched in Japan because of IGBO drug dealer and criminals there. Hotels in some Asian countries now refuse blacks thanks to IGBOS, Thai police now have a task force for blacks until I educated them on IGBOs. Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Dubai, and many others think blacks should be banned at airports since IGBOs started the drug trade and 419 there - The list goes on. Everywhere I have asked for data on Nigerian criminal activities I get IGBO names, anywhere I go ontrips and check for black criminals - IGBO people emerge!

IGBO people have for over 50 years destroyed the Nigerian passport in all corners of the globe leading to ill treatment and humiliation of innocent Nigerians daily at many airports and cities around the world.

Because of religion and stupidity, most Nigerians tend to accept collective blame for crimes that are predominantly done by IGBOs - they are simply described as Nigerians!

Everywhere you see Nigerians, plenty of corruption. And they will not repent from being corrupt, but they will be blaming it on one tribe or another. What a foolish, corrupt and wicked generations we have. By corruption they ruined their own country but the other people will not allow them to ruin their own country. Wherever there is a mice, their will be plenty of smelling. We better repent from our wicked ways

That is for those on tourist, visiting visa. Those short stay visa. Those on long stay visa - Students, working visa etc don't do the monthly visa run.

When you say long stay - what about those on retirement visas?, because as a fact I know they do the 3 month visa run,the trip to Cambodia is quite popular and there are agencies who actually arrange the trip for them

As for students there is a requirement to validate their visas every 3 months. It is possible for them to do this within the country.
