Once you've added the new domain as authorized site give it sometime, like say 24hrs to propagate. It should display alright!

Then it will never work for a custom domain as it is hosted. It only works for google hosted services such as youtube and blogger blogs using default ..com subdomain. You'll have to apply for a non-hosted adsense so u can use it on your custom domain else it'll continue being blank until u revert back to ur default blog address

Give it like two weeks
It will start showing

Like Emmy said it will never work with ur custom domain if it is hosted Adsense.

What you should do now is for you to apply for it to be upgraded to non-hosted.
