Degema Legislative Assembly screens, confirms 5 Supervisory Councillors

The Degema Legislative Assembly Thursday, screened and confirmed 5 nominees for the position of Supervisory Councillors, sent to it by the Executive Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Tony Philmoore Ph.D.

The Supervisory Councillors are; Arupu Johnbull, Iboroma Abubakar Musa, Amabara Ekine, Garrick Idaeresin and Maureen Harry.

Confirming the nominees, Leader of the Degema Legislative Assembly, Hon. Dennis Phillip Fayeofori, congratulated them for their appointments, urging them to take their jobs seriously and bring their wealth of experiences to bear.

He advised that as Supervisory Councillors they should see their appointments as a call to service and work assiduously to actualize the set objectives of the LGA.

Speaking to pressmen shortly after the screening and confirmation, Garrick Idaeresin commended the Executive Chairman for finding him worthy for the appointment, assuring that he and his colleagues would give their best to justify their appointments.
