31-member strong contingent from the prestigious Akwa Ibom State University has departed for the 2018 Nigerian Universities Staff Sports Association (NUSSA) games. The week-long event will take place in the premises of the University of Ilorin, located in Kwara State, Nigeria between 21st and 30th of September 2018.

Events to be competed for include Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Dart, Draught, Football, Handball, Scrabble, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Volleyball. The Vice-Chancellor of the Akwa Ibom State University, Prof. Eno Ibanaga fnip, had earlier charged the contingent to ensure that the return-back in flying colours, while assuring them of the continuous support of Management to the progress and growth of staff and students of the University...
