Trump Tells Spain to Build a Wall Across The Sahara to Keep out African Migrants

U.S president Donald Trump suggested that Spain build a wall against the Sahara Desert to help curb the migrant crisis.

Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borell , while speaking at a lunch event in Madrid, said Trump made the remarks during the Minister's visit to the U.S in June.

"The border with the Sahara cannot be bigger than our border with Mexico," said the president.

The U.S border with Mexico spans approximately 3,220km while the Sahara is about 4,820km and stretches across nearly a dozen North African countries.

Spain is separated from Africa by the Mediterranian Sea with the exception of two enclaves, Melila and Ceuta.

Do i blame Trump? No!! Bad leadership has been a major hazard in Africa, if not, most foreign countries would have given all what it takes to be in Africa and not the other way round.
