SCIENCE STORYTELLING CHALLENGE – A tremendous amount of scientific innovation is taking place across Africa, with many researchers and entrepreneurs developing new solutions to make a positive impact in their own communities, and around the world. Johnson & Johnson Innovation wants to shine a spotlight on those researchers and entrepreneurs and the impact of their work on society


Through the “Champions of Science Storytelling Challenge – Africa Science Week Edition” we aim to showcase the contributions of the talented and passionate researchers and entrepreneurs from Africa, to build public engagement and support for science, and inspire the next generation to pursue scientific fields that will have the potential to drive Africa’s socio-economic transformation.

The Africa Science Week Edition of the Challenge is open specifically to attendees of the 2018 Africa Science Week conference. You must attend at least one Africa Science Week event to be eligible.

Deadline: January 15, 2019. Your Survey Monkey application (inclusive of your written story OR video story) must be fully submitted by 11:59 PM EAT on January 15, 2019.
