The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said declared that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, remains undeterred and determined to emerge victorious.

He said this while commending PDP’s candidate in the ongoing governorship rerun election, Ademola Adeleke and the party’s supporters for their resilience.

In a tweet, the Senate President insisted that PDP will ensure that Adeleke emerge victorious.

He wrote: “I visited the Governorship candidate of our party, Senator Ademola Adeleke, in Ede today to commend him and his supporters for their resilience and to let him know that we remain undeterred and determined to ensure that he becomes the next Governor of Osun State. #OsunDecides2018.”

Following an inconclusive election on Saturday, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had rescheduled the poll till today for a rerun.

If he should return to the APC tomorrow, he'll suddenly make a 180° turn and start lambasting PDP. To curb corruption and instil 'party patriotism', we first need to criminalise indiscriminate 'jumpology' from one party to another. We need a law to prohibit people who have yet to spend 1 year in a particular political party from contesting elections.
Imagine someone jumping from party A to B and two weeks after, he's contesting their primary election. That's insane.

That is a million dollar question for a person with such low IQ. It is this epic foolishness our politicians are taking advantage of. Now they are looking up to Saraki and atiku as the savior Nigeria needs. Saraki has been the Senate president for over 3 years, which bill did he sponsor in the interest of the common man? Now he is promising them heaven on earth.
