History of All Tribes That Make Up Biafra And Their Connection To One Ancestor. The Biafran Tribes are: Izon(Ijaw), Ibibio, Igbo/Ikwerre/Anioma/Agbor, Efik, Annang, Igbanke/Edo, Idoma, Igala, Agbor, Ogoni and other smaller clans. One ancestor tie them to biblical Gad, who was the son of Jacob, and Jacob who was the son of Isaac, and Isaac who was the son of Abraham! When you listen to Radio Biafra, you will hear a popular phrase repeated many times by all tribes "Chukwu Okike Abiama" which means God of Abraham. Watch video below backed up with biblical verses! Keep in mind all Biafran tribes are not originally Africans, they were known as "Negroes" blacks who once occupied a place called "Negroland" situated on the Bight of Biafara(Biafra) next to Benin Kingdom which later had Biafra as it's capital. Again, they are two type of Black people in Africa: Negroes and Africans. If you look at both blacks, you can spot the difference in physical appearance. The Negroes or Hebrews are present day Biafrans, African Americans, Blacks in Caribbeans and other Hebrew tribes who migrated from Israel to Africa and later sold into slavery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acIxfQilJjY

biafranation:Igala did not originate from your source. Yes Some southern Igalas are related to you but not majority Igalas, get that right .Northern igbo like Nsukka were ruled by Igala before. That doesn't make Igala have same ancestor as you. Main Igala came from kwararafa, through river Benue and settled at Amagede, that is the oldest Village in Igala land. Amagede is at the bank of River Benue bordering Nassarawa go and find out . That is the first settlement of Igala, later some Igalas, the kings moved along the River Benue /Niger through Lokoja southward to Idah and set up a kingdom . It's at this point that Igala interracted with Edo, Igbo , Yoruba etc. Idah is not Igala oldest Village, it's Amagede. Igala language sounds and its even close to Yoruba than igbo for your information, so Yoruba should also say the have same origin with Igala . Igala is a central tribe so it shares and related to like 20 different tribes depend on what area of igalaland you are from. Yes igbo has interraction with Igala and that stop at the southern border of igalaland, just some communities. Your closest cousins are the Ibibios, among, ijaws that dress and share similar cultural things with igbo for example tie wrapper and so on . Igala is one of the kwararafa lineage tribes.Hope that gives you more information. 4 Likes 1 Share |
