Focus: Recipe for Good Success

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." (Joshua 1:8 NKJV)

There is a remarkable difference between having success and having good success. A man can have success using any means but good success comes from God. whatever success a man achieves without due regard for the word of God is not a good success.

The instruction in the Bible verse above came to Joshua at the time he was about to lead the Israelites into the land of promise. This is necessary despite the promises of the Lord concerning His presence as they marched into the promised land. The implication of this is that the Lord will only honour His word in the lives of His people if and only if they honour His word by working and walking accordingly.

To have good success the word of God must come first in your thinking. You must live for it, by it and promote it. Every man who succeeds under God from the likes of Joseph, David, Abraham, Daniel never did without honouring the word of God.

Lord! I receive the grace to honour your word and live by it in every affair of life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

The Lord will only honour His word in your life to give you good success if and only if you honour His word to do accordingly in the affairs of your life!!!
