Engr. Okoli is an indigene of Eziagu in Orumba South LGA, Anambra State, a chartered engineer and CEO of GULFCON LTD, he also doubles as a senior legislative aide to the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.

The Federal University of Technology, Minna civil engineering graduate has been deeply involved in community development projects in Eziagu his community and Orumba his LGA,

In his private capacity, he single handedly attracted, supervised and delivered a standard health center in his community and also equipped it with standard medical facilities.

A strategic thinker and result oriented personality with an unparalleled love for his people and community, his rural electrification initiative has electrified his community through his solar powered street lighting project standing all over his community in Eziagu.

His educational endowment program has been handling the payment of tuition fees of some financially underprivileged but brilliant students in his community and beyond.

It is therefore not surprising that the Orumba South LGA, in its landmark celebration of Orumba South LGA @27, taking place on the 26th and 27th of October 2018, has singled Engineer Uche Okoli out for recognition and decoration with a well-deserved MERIT AWARD because of his contributions to the development of his community Eziagu, Orumba South LGA and Anambra state in general.
