A Tanker Filled with Petrol exploded this morning, 2nd September at Ojo Barracks along Lagos Badagry Expressway. The site of the explosion is also very close to the Office of Department of State Security Services, DSS in Lagos.

According to reports the tanker fell due to the state of the road and spilled its contents in the process, and the impact of the fall resulted in an explosion which affected nothing less than eight cars.

Tanker with fuel fell n spilled some of its contents n vehicles around it caught fire. an International Brewery long vehicle loaded with Trophy Beer,a station wagon,an empty trailer, a trailer with rolls of iron sheets(one roll caught fire) and other vehicles but no life was lost.


FRSC officials,Army personnel n other para military outfits are there as I type this.The tanker has been removed and the station wagon.


Army and FRSC officials are doing a good job on easing traffic.
To be frank, the roads are terrible.
