Explorers:
Pictures captured by a drone show a totally destroyed mosque.

A man takes a photo of a car left jammed in the side of a building following the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia.

Houses and vehicles damaged by earthquake and tsunami are seen on Talise beach area, Palu, Central Sulawesi.

People scrambled onto rooftops of nearby buildings in order to avoid the rising waters of the tsunami.
why only mosques are destroyed

Africa is the only continent firmly rooted into the earth's core, why we don't have earthquake. So be happy to be an African and stop all the nonsense comments I read about Africa on NL on a daily basis, the Chinese will trade continents with you in a blink of an eye.

but why authorities still allow people to build on earthquake prone areas
Do you know what percentage of the earth is quake-prone? Some whole countries are. Best they do, especially in first world countries, is to build to withstand some quake.

Not always true. Some buildings are standing right on top of the tectonic plate.

A mass grave for more than a thousand earthquake and tsunami victims has been prepared in Indonesia as a desperate hunt for survivors continued today.

Sand is placed over dead bodies of the victims of the earthquake and tsunami during a mass burial at the Poboya Cemetery in Palu, Central Sulawesi.

Buhari never started shaku shaku dance the Python way.it was Yakubu Gowon a Berom that did galala dance with ojukwu during civil war. May Igbos pigs died, may their souls be reunited with ojukwu.

This is one of the demerits of living in a developing country. You can imagine if this was going to happen in the US, they would have moved the residents out a week before its occurrence, RIP to the dead.

Studies have shown that there are great faults in some part of Nigeria (Abuja inclusive) that could cause rupture of the crust if triggered.

The fact that we are not surrounded by any of the plate boundaries should not make us utilise the crust indiscriminately without minding possible consequences.

It will do us a great favour to start developing earthquake hazard map and start implementing preventive measures religiously.

Aso Rock is the sand that holds the country together.

press statement legends of the century.

Assurance speakers of the millennium, but doers of nonentity.

Every man to his tent if this happens tomorrow. cos the Aso sand has no provision to think about the average Nigerian.

Natural disasters make a nation united. Expect one soon!!! Our leaders are too powerful for sanity sake.
