Does Tinubu Deserve Anyone's Loyalty?? by phemiee1810(m): 10:36am On Oct 04, 2018
*DOES TINUBU ACTUALLY DESERVE ANYONE'S LOYALTY? HE BIT THE AFENIFERE FINGER THAT FED HIM!*

In case you have forgotten, Bola Tinubu, as governor of Lagos State, used THREE deputy governors in FOUR years. And I will give you the background to this.

After the death of Abacha in 1998, Tinubu and others in exile returned home. These included Tinubu. When he came, Funsho Williams had prepared to become governor and his structures were all over Lagos. Tinubu wanted Senate seat.

Still basking on euphoria of seeing the end of Abacha and the credibility of their NADECO activities, Afenifere leaders like Baba Abraham Adesanya, Ayo Adebanjo, Ganiyu Dawodu and others "decreed" that the AD (Alliance for Democracy) guber ticket be given to Tinubu. He did NOT win the primaries. Williams won.

There was furore. Williams kicked. Till today, votes from FOUR local governments where Williams won (which would have given him the ticket) were NEVER counted.

In Ondo State. Mrs. Mobolaji Osomo was poised to pick the AD ticket but the Afenifere leaders kicked against her because she once served as minister under Abacha. Osomo was a commissioner under the late Adekunle Ajasin between 1979 and 1983. She was an old Action Grouper!

Back to Lagos. Kofo Bucknor-Akerele was made the deputy to Tinubu but he was never happy with the choice. He stripped the office of any appurtenances. In fact, the woman, at a point, had two cars in her fleet: a dispatch car and her official car. She could not spend even N10,000. Also Mrs Bucknor's security vote was 90k while Tinubu's was 25m. Don't believe me. Do your findings and prove my lie.

At the end of the day, Tinubu had to force Afenifere to allow him decide his own deputy. That was how Femi Pedro came in but was impeached on Tinubu's instruction to his loyalists in the State House of Assembly. It didn't just last long between them. Note also by 2003, he (Tinubu) finished his first term with Abiodun Ogunleye.

Immediately, he got second term, he began the decimation of Afenifere. Not only did they not have any input into his government, and backed by massive Lagos cash, he started wooing over anyone loyal to the old men. That was how Mandate Group became powerful.

That was how Tinubu elevated money politics and sees it as the only weapon to buy loyalty!

Today, same Tinubu wants to decide even the councillor that would represent even the most remotest corner of Lagos.

* He denied Mamora ticket of going back to the Senate. But his wife is going for THIRD TERM.

*Solomon Adeola Yayi was busy gunning for Ogun governorship. He practically abandoned Lagos. But when he failed, Tinubu had handed him ticket for Senate again. All those who have been preparing to contest were told to forget it.

Playing God is easy. Only that you can never be.

Karma knocking at Tinubu's door....

Tinubu is a coward and a backstabber....

He effused his anger on Ambo for betraying him and wouldn't do the same to Buhari who sidelined him immediately after 2015 election, all for us to start reading about Tinubu when 2019 election was near.....

We will soon stop reading about Tinubu after 2019....
