Following the crack down on practitioners of ex­amination malpractice in Port Harcourt, two young men, Emeka Ebunoha and Igwe Obumneme Samuel, were recently nabbed in Port Harcourt for examination fraud, Orient daily reports.

According to a reliable source, the two teenagers were allegedly part of an internet syndicate selling leaked examination papers to students sitting for the 2018 West African School Certif­icate Examination, WASCE.

It was also alleged that the two were responsible for leak­ages of examination questions of the National Examination Council, NECO and the Joint Admission Matriculation Board, JAMB.

Police investigation revealed that the two suspects run two websites: www.examsort.com and www.expomata.. com and confessed that the websites were created to sell leaked examination questions and answers to students.

The duo confessed they re­ceived payments into their bank accounts or through receipt of recharge cards from students patronising them.

Orient Daily reports that the two suspects are still being questioned as police promised that investigation continues to “fish out other members of the syndicate.” The two suspects will soon be charged to court.
