No, bro. Once you are on the highway (which TMB) is, there is no speed limit. You can overtake anyone as long as your speed is more than theirs.

In the case of a convoy, make sure you overtake all the vehicles, don't try to squeeze yourself in between the convoy cars

Speed limit on 3MB is 80km/h, if you look well, you will see the speed limits signs on the bridge

What a useless country. I have NEVER seen or heard of a country where it's a crime to pass a Military vehicle on a highway as long as no traffic law was broken. To damage a car and beat the driver to a pulp simply for passing them on the highway goes to show how backward and uncivilized the country is. There's definitely no crime in passing a military personnel on the highway. In any civilized country the only requirement for ALL drivers using the roadway is to make way for emergency vehicles albeit Medical or Fire Service and that's that. All drivers that ply the road have the same right as any other driver and share the same responsibility to drive in a safe manner. Nigeria is a goddamned country!

There is no law that go against you overtaking any automobile on the road when it is not live threatening situation or extreme official duty; and in that situation a siren must be used to notify road user. There is nothing disrespectful in what the driver did. The military personnel are extremely wrong and should apologize to the tax payer paying their salary
