I've followed the many stories here on nairaland about the Royal Wedding of Sharon and Philip of Christ Embassy. Many of the informations are misleading.

Below are some actual facts you should know. I'll avoid stating the obvious.

1. The wedding took place in Christ Embassy Lekki, Lagos Nigeria.

2. The couple wore both Benin attires and Ghanian attires for the traditional wedding.

3. Pastor Chris received 20 Naira as the Bride price and asked that the rest be used to take care of His daughter.

4. Sharon's sister was her chief bridesmaid.

5. Ex-president of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was the highest ranked political leader from Nigeria Present. Many sent their wives and representatives because of the current political conferences I think.

6. Pastor Anita was not seen present at the event.

7. World Renowned Televangelist, Pastor Benny Hinn officiated the wedding.

8. Pastor Chris Walked Sharon to the altar.

9. As Pastor Benny ministered Philip cried. He was probably overwhelmed.

10. Pastor Benny invites Pastor Chris to speak to the couple and as He ministered( prophesied) to them they fell under the power.

11. Only the names of the politicians were mentioned as honor to them but none was given the church platform.

12. Many Men of God from home and abroad were also recognized.

13. There were 7 reception venues for the wedding.

14. There was also a concert in the honor of the couple.

It doesn't cost much to go for knowledge instead of making assumptions and misleading others.
